Health & Safety Policy

We endorse excellence in resource management and are committed to protecting the general welfare and work environment of all employees and contractors. Through active leadership and strong support for occupational health and safety programs, Northwind Holding Company management provides the necessary resources to ensure that effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) objectives are fully implemented in every project we undertake.

To accomplish our Health and Safety (HS) goals, we:

~Require participation from management, supervisors, and employees.
~stablish clear responsibilities and lines of authority.
~Enforce policies and procedures for employees and subcontractors.
~Review subcontractor performance and training compliance.
~Conduct pre-project and pre-task hazard analyses with mitigation measures.
~Implement environmental management system procedures to track and properly dispose of all waste and potentially hazardous chemicals in compliance with regulatory requirements.
~Provide project-specific training for employees and subcontractors.
~Ensure proper selection, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment.
~Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the HSE program, with a strong focus on achieving zero incidents.
~Maintain strict control and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.

Zero Incident Culture

All subsidiaries take the necessary steps to establish and maintain a zero-incident culture that encourages safe behaviors and fosters work environments designed to prevent personal injury and property damage. Furthermore, we comply with government legislation and minimize the impact of company operations on the environment.

Corporate and subsidiary management actively lead program participation by regularly auditing operations to monitor the effectiveness of safety, environmental, and loss management systems. This ensures the active involvement of employees and contractors while reinforcing our zero-incident objectives.

Employees and contractors are accountable for performing their daily tasks with full regard for their own health and safety, as well as environmental stewardship. Training and instruction are provided to equip all employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their program responsibilities. Management ensures that the required resources and procedures are in place to achieve these objectives.
